I am pleased to announce that together with my colleague from University of Cologne, Dr. Daniel Sprick, I was awarded the Cologne International Forum Innovative Tandem Collaborations Grant.
Project Title: The Legal Consequences of China’s Presence in Latin America: Opportunities, Risks and Responses.
Why This Matters:
• Sheds light on a critical but under-analyzed aspect: the legal implications of China’s growing presence in Latin America
• Offers a unique opportunity for scholars, including young scholars, to delve deeper into the topic
• Aims to create a community of experts on the China-Latin America-Law nexus
Project Stages:
• Workshop in Barcelona for academics working on related topics (China & the Global South, Latin America, International Law, etc.)
• Roundtable with audience in Cologne for presenting selected full papers
• Collaborative publication
